The dialogue with mud this term has shifted from the ground to the table, bringing the connection between mud and the machine closer and more accessible. Questioning what is placed on the table has shaped the approach to working with mud as a sophisticated element. The table has served as an ambassador, representing the thickness and chaos of mud as its unique personality.
Autonomous-ity

Through these interactions and conversations with the machine, playing with mud and experimenting with its texture and dampness helped in understanding its personality and determining its place on the table in preparation for the final installation.

Understanding Mud_

Several conversations have emerged both visually and physically. Framing and reframing took place through the use of plaster as a tool to mount the chaos of muddiness and to stabilise the circuits (machines) used as translators.

Staging
The experiment staging mud came as a friendly gesture in figuring out how to approach the wetness of mud, how to corrupt its stability and interfere with its usual element of sliminess.

At this point, the table has been accumulated and refined into an installation with mud. Living mud has the choice to exist independently or to enter into dialogue with anyone interested in engaging with it. The elements of the table represent feelings, emotions, memories, and other senses. Mud Do Feel has become an interactive sound sculpture that engages with the passer’s thoughts. What is mud when placed on a table and fused with machines and technology?
